EH5000e - Backhoe Thumb

This is an item that has made our products stand out from the rest. Since its inception in 1998, our backhoes have always had thumb attachments that work. They are extremely well built and designed to work for you.

Imagine digging a trench and hitting a big rock. You simply dig the rock out, grab it with the bucket/thumb combination and drive away with it. You cannot do this with any other type of backhoe.

Our thumbs are made from 100% structural T1 steel. They pin onto our booms and can be easily removed. The pressure compensation in our booms allow you to put just the right amount of pressure on an objects without damaging the object, the bucket or the thumb. Now that is smart.

Another handy idea is to use this along with the ripper to place rocks. This allows you to grab them just right and place them the way you want them.
